Everything But The Kitchen Sink

I read Everything But The Kitchen Sink by Elizabeth MacLeod and Frieda Wishinsky. It's a good book full of cool stuff, weird stuff, interesting stuff, and even some gross stuff! Like Do you know how tea bags where invented? While here's how, a guy was selling tea leaves in small silk bags. The people who bought them didn't know what to do, so they put the bags( with the tea leaves in them) in their tea cups. The guy who invented them saw what a success it was and decided to make them with paper.                

The Strongest Man in The World: Lois Cyr

I read the book The Strongest Man in The World: Lois Cyr by Nicolas Debon. It's a really good book. It's full of facts about Lois Cyr, but it's written in comic form so it stays interesting. I really liked this book and here's something about Lois Cyr, I'm related to him!!!!!!!!! It's true my grandma's maiden name was Cyr!!!!!!!!!!       

The Moon Children

I didn't really like The Moon Children. I'm really stumped because I read the back and I liked the sound of it, but then I read it and I REALLY didn't like it. It started off quite boring and then started to get more interesting. I would kindly recommend this book to any moon-lovers.

I loved the Royal Woods. It was emotional. Even though I loved it, I still am putting it last on my chart (so far) My chart is:

Peril at Pier Nine

Peril at Pier Nine would interest any reader who loves tales of friendship, sailing and a load of reality. Even though it was a fiction book, you can still learn alot from it. It's about a Wards Islander named Jack and he never thinks before he acts. Like any other Islander, Jack is a boat lover and is determined to be the captain of the BEST ship in the Great Lakes, the SS Noronic. One night, Jack discovers that the SS Noronic is moored over at Pier Nine! With over 500 passengers, she's in terrible danger! Jack knows he needs to do something, but what? Read this perilous book to find out!

Gold medal for weird

I LOVED this book. It was very interesting and hilarious, I never got bored and finished it in one night. It told you about olympics and other proffesional sports. I liked how it took the spotlight from gold medal winners and you were able to appreciate the other athletes in the world. I suggest it to anyone who loves the olympics or just wants a good laugh.

Reading the bones

I really liked this book alot beacause there's a girl who learns how to read bones. When Penny recovers a human in her backyard, everything changes(don't worry, it's only bones). This book was emotional, but at times, it was quite historical. Before, I asked myself, why did I read something historical? Now, I realize that I read it beacause Gina McKurey-Barber used the mind of a child to explain it.
