The Third Eye

I read the book The Third Eye by Mahtab Narsimhan. It's really good. In it Tara and her brother Suraj set out to save their village from the evil Zarku, a man with a third eye. I like the part when Tara and Ananth are turned into cobras by Parvati, Tara's mother. I think anyone you likes Harry Potter would like this.

I have been looking for another book in the fiction category for 2 weeks. Since i still have to read 4 books to read i would apppriciate if you brought you books back when you are done with them.

:( Not Happy With The Sacred Leaf :(

I'm reading the book The Sacred Leaf. I really don't like it so far.I'm kind of surprised because it is by Deborah Ellis and I love her other books.I don't like it so far because it's not that exiting. The boy in the story is just with his "adopted" family.

Abandonning the Royal Woods

I thought of abandoning it because I usually like one style of books and the Royal Woods was not in that style. I like magic and mystical themes. Meghan loved the book though.

Your post must demonstrate that you read and understood the story.

Your post needs to have:
an opening sentence - I really enjoyed the Chocolate River Rescue.
a reason - The story was very suspenseful and what happened to the boys stranded on the piece of ice on the river could really happen to someone and the danger of dying from drowning or freezing is very high.
an example from the text - I was really worried when the boys considered swimming to shore because I thought they would freeze before they reached the shore.
your own idea - I thought that their plan to soak a piece of material with gasoline was really clever and imaginative.
a closing sentence - The suspense in this story kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end.

Houdini
